Our facilities at Sherborne House enable our pupils to learn together, to grow together and to play together. Small but perfectly formed, our school makes the most of every blade of grass in order to provide the best opportunities for our pupils. Bordering the central playground are the majority of the school’s buildings: a mix of original buildings from when the school opened in 1933, along with newer wooden-clad classrooms, a sports hall and nursery.
Nestled in the heart of Chandler’s Ford, our outdoor spaces include woodland (used for Forest School), a large climbing frame, a wellbeing garden, two playgrounds, and a large playing field – all for our pupils to explore and enjoy. We also make the most of Hiltingbury Lakes, which are located across the road.
In our Early Years areas, children are offered a variety of opportunities for sensory experiences and discovery. Mud kitchens, sandpits, construction, and role play areas are just some of our facilities for outdoor learning.
